We had a count down until 12 NOON January first. We made construction paper hats, 7 layer dip, and cinnamon rolls. We banged pots, whistled, screamed and hollered. It was a hoot. All morning Adee asked it if was time to yell yet. Baker wasn't quite sure if banging pots was going to be acceptable behavior, after a bang or two, he really got into it.
